Welcome, friend! I’m Meg Hood, a content creator on Tiktok and Instagram known as “Meg’s Tea Room” where we share a cup of tea and cozy fantasy stories that warm the heart.

During this phase, we're reviewing manuscripts and deciding which book we want to publish. At the end of this phase, we offer an author a book deal.

Consideration

As the manuscript goes through several phases of editorial work, the cover and interior design takes place, while format decisions about paper stocks and printing treatments are made.

Editorial & Design

While the books are on press, the pre-order links go live and the marketing campaign ramps up with waves of review copy mailings to media and influencers.

I discovered the cozy fantasy genre when I read Legend & Lattes for the first time. Reading that story felt like coming home, so I started to seek out the softer side of fantasy. I have since shared countless cozy stories through my content and my online book club that currently hosts over 5,000 cozy fantasy lovers.
